An Israeli drone flying above the Golan Heights was targeted on Thursday evening from Syria. The bullets were discovered in the Druze town of Majdal Shams.

No injuries were reported. However, a home in the town was damaged. IDF and Israel Police forces are operating in the area to rule out the possibility of any further damage from the gunfire.

On Wednesday, Syria accused Israel of conducting an airstrike on a research facility near Damascus. According to the Syrian Army, the aircraft fired on the site from Lebanon’s airspace. Syrian air defense forces shot several missiles at the alleged Israeli fighter jets and the missiles that they supposedly fired toward the site. Syria accused Israel of attacking the same site in 2013 and 2017, according to the Al-Hayat newspaper.
