This morning (Monday), the Palestinian Authority President's office condemned the Muezzin Law, a bill approved passed by the Israeli Ministerial Committee for Legislation yesterday. Mahmoud Abbas’ spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh called this law “a grave act by Israel” and warned that this type of activity will “drag the region into a disaster.”

According to Abu Rudeineh, the Palestinian leadership plans to approach the UN Security Council regarding the matter. He also discussed the Regulation Law, calling it a worrying radicalization: “These steps taken are unacceptable. We will go to the international community to stop them.”
