In a letter that Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti published today (Friday) from his cell, he calls for the Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike to continue their fight. “Israel has the delusion that punishment and isolation will make us abandon our holy struggle and our just demands,” Barghouti wrote in the letter, which was published on Palestinian news outlet Ma’an.

“Israel cannot silence us, isolate us or break us,” he wrote adding that the mass imprisonment of Palestinians is a tactic aimed at “weakening and frightening our people and oppressing our abilities to fight the occupation.”
