On Twitter, Greenblatt posted pictures from the holy site, saying that he was praying for peace and the families of Israelis who are being held captive by Hamas.

According to reports, the meeting was set to take place in Ramallah but when the Trump administration informed the Palestinians that Friedman would be accompanying Greenblatt, the PA asked for the meeting to be relocated.
