Hamas has called for a "day of rage," urging its activists to clash with IDF and police at checkpoints across the West Bank just days ahead of US President Donald Trump's visit.

Trump will begin his overseas trip in Saudi Arabia, where he is expected to urge Arab and Muslim leaders to take steps towards normalizing relations with Israel as proposed in the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative.

Meanwhile, the Israeli police are preparing for one of their most complex security operations recently. More than 4,000 officers will be deployed in the city during Trump's two-day visit.
