According to a report by the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, the incident "is expected to destroy the efforts of Egypt and the United Nations to establish a long-term ceasefire."
In an apparent response by Hamas, the IDF reported that at least four fires broke out today in the areas surrounding the Gaza Strip and the western Negev as a result of arson kites, and a Molotov cocktail landed near a kindergarten in one of the Eshkol Regional Councils.
