The IDF spokesperson released on Sunday morning photographs of the weapons used by two terrorists who opened fire on Israeli troops during Friday’s “March of Return” event that Hamas organized. IDF tanks and Israeli jets returned fire and eliminated the terrorists. In addition, an IDF tank targeted three Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip.

A few hours after Hamas announced that five of the Palestinians who were killed in the border clashes were members of its armed wing, the IDF released a statement regarding the matter. “At least 10 known terrorists with track records of terrorist activity were killed whilst carrying out acts of terror during the violent riots along the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip on Friday March 30, 2018,” the IDF spokesperson wrote on Twitter.

The terrorists who were eliminated during the clashes have been identified as Hamdan Abu Amshe, a Hamas terrorist from Beit Hanoun; Mosa’ab Salol, one of the Hamas terrorists who shot at the IDF troops; Muhammad Abu Amro, a 27-year-old Hamas terrorist who took part in the group’s tunnel-digging missions; Ahmad Odeh, a terrorist in Hamas’ Shati Battalion; Jihad Frina, a Sheikh Radwan resident who was a commander in a Hamas unit; Sari Abu Odeh, a terrorist belonging to Hamas’ Beit Hanoun Battalion; Jihad Zuhier Salman Abu Jamos, a terrorist in Hamas’ al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades; Ebraheem Abu Sha'er, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist; Abed Elrahman Abed Elnabi, a member of Hamas’ armed wing; and Muhammad Rahmi, a Hamas terrorist from Shuja'iyya Turkman.

On Friday, over 30,000 Palestinians answered Hamas’ call to gather near the border and protest. The Palestinians claim that 17 people were killed in the clashes from IDF fire while hundreds of others were injured.
