The Shin Bet, IDF and police arrested two members of a terror cell from the Jenin area, who carried out a number of shooting attacks in the West Bank. The shooting attacks targeting IDF bases in Jenin, Nablus and Tulkarem did not cause causalities but property was damaged.

In addition to attacking IDF bases, the terror cell targeted Israeli communities in the West Bank including Shaked, Hermesh, and Shavei Shomron. The Israeli forces even discovered that one of the cell members anticipated that he would be killed due to his terror activities and therefore, he left behind a will in his home.

Some of the weapons used to implement the terror attacks were hidden inside children’s beds. According to the Shin Bet, the shooting attacks occurred during the night and frequently, thus posing a significant threat to civilians and security forces in the West Bank. During the raids, the security forces seized a number of weapons and vehicles.
