More Palestinian security prisoners on hunger-strike recorded eating, intelligence authorities claim footage of Barghouti is ‘gift’ for Abbas

Intelligence authorities claim that the video of terrorist and hunger-strike leader Marwan Barghouti eating is a gift for Palestinian National Authority President Mahmous Abbas. More security prisoners participating in the hunger-strike have been recorded eating.

Almost a day after the video of terrorist and hunger-strike leader Marwan Barghouti secretly eating was published, today (Monday), the Israel Prison Service confirmed that more security prisoners ate secretly.

However, the number of security prisoners participating in the hunger-strike remains the same as yesterday-890.

Meanwhile, intelligence authorities told Israel’s Channel 2 news that supporters of Palestinian National Authority President Mahmoud Abbas are sure that the footage is a ‘God-given present’ for the Palestinian leader. They claim that the video could ‘strike a death blow’ to Barghouti’s ambitions to replace Abbas one day in the future.

As reported earlier by JOL, the National Committee for Supporting the Prisoners Hunger Strike “denied the claims of the occupation prison authorities that the leader Marwan Barghouti had suspended his hunger strike.”
