More than 150 Rockets Hamas Launches Against the Cities of Israel: A Woman Seriously Injured in Eshkol

A woman was seriously injured when a rocket exploded in a house, launched from the Gaza Strip, in the Eshkol Regional Council, near the coastal enclave controlled by the Islamic terrorist group Hamas.

The woman, 30 years old, is a foreign worker from Thailand. He suffered injuries to his abdomen and extremities. Another person suffered minor injuries, and several others were treated in a state of shock.

A total of five people were injured on the Israeli side during this latest escalation of violence.

Hamas continued firing rockets during the night. Military sources indicated that Palestinian terrorists launched more than 150 rockets against Israeli communities bordering the Strip, since Wednesday night.

Most of the projectiles fell in open spaces. The Iron Dome anti-missile battery, programmed to intercept missiles that go to residential areas, shot down 25 rockets.

However, several houses and factories were damaged in Israeli communities by the impact of the rockets. A volley launched against the city of Sderot caused injuries to three Israelis. At least eight other people were treated in a state of panic, including two pregnant women on their way to work.

In response, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked over 140 Hamas military targets in Gaza overnight.

The attacks destroyed weapons factories and arsenals, the military spokesman said. The Air Force attacked a car used by terrorists to launch rockets into southern Israel from the Strip. A member of Hamas died in one of the air strikes. According to reports, it would be the relative of a senior Hamas commander.

Hamas said a 23-year-old pregnant woman and her young daughter died in another attack; while the husband suffered moderate injuries.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman met with senior officials of the security establishment at the Ministry of Defense headquarters in Tel Aviv to assess the situation.
