As reported earlier by JOL, Haim Fogel, who lost five family members in a stabbing attack in Itamar in 2011, arrived at the Salomon family home in Halamish. “When something so similar happens, you feel the pain because you know what the family is going through, what tragedy they are experiencing,” he said.

“It’s very hard to stand here next to the home where the horrible murder took place, where my good friends were murdered, Yossi, Elad and Chaya,” he continued. “It really reminds [me] of where we were six and a half years ago, when we came in the middle of that horrible night to Itamar to take our grandchildren to our home.”

Reportedly, Halamish residents contacted and complained to security forces regarding the road adjacent to the community’s fence several times. “Eight months ago, 15 homes in the settlement were set on fire by Molotov cocktails that were thrown over the fence,” they said.
