Netanyahu: “Hamas Is Responsible and Hamas Will Pay”

After much discussions, the Israeli Security Cabinet responded to the deaths of the three abducted teenagers; Israel’s Prime Minister stated that “the blood revenge of small children was not created by the devil and also young pure teenagers on their way home to meet their parents who will never look the same again is not avenging blood.” The Prime Minister pointed the finger of blame at Hamas.

The entire nation is crying,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in response to the grief in finding the bodies of the three kidnapped boys and accused Hamas of being responsible for their deaths.

Upon leaving the urgent Security Cabinet meeting after the bodies were found, Netanyahu stated, “Very heavy grief was initiated tonight with the discovery of the three bodies and all of the signs point to the fact that they belonged to the three abducted Israeli teenagers, Eyal, Gilad and Naftali. They were kidnapped and murdered in cold blood by human beasts.”

“On behalf of all of Israel, I wish to say to the dear families---mothers, fathers, grandparents, sisters and brothers----our hearts bleed. The entire nation is crying with them. We brought home the boys to bury in Israel,” he added. Then, he quoted the famous poem by Bialik “On The Slaughter”------“the blood revenge of small children was not created by the devil and also young pure teenagers on their way home to meet their parents who will never look the same again is not avenging blood.”

“Hamas is responsible and Hamas will pay. May the memory of the three boys be blessed,” the Israeli Prime Minister stressed. Hamas, however, denied responsibility for the kidnappings and threatened that any Israeli attack that would come in response to the deaths of Eyal, Gilad and Naftali “would open the gates of hell,” according to reports in Arabic language media.
