The Palestinian Authority has demanded to cancel the participation of Likud MK Oren Hazan in a joint meeting of Israeli and Palestinian politicians set to take place next week.
The meeting, organized by a British charity group called Forward Thinking, will bring together senior Palestinian leaders and Israeli parliament members for open discussions.
Though the Palestinians have urged the British organizers to invite right-wing politicians, specifically from the ruling Likud party, they've vetoed Hazan over a series of controversial remarks he has made recently, namely wishing for the death of Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian Authority, and lashing out at parents of terror convicts who were on a bus to visit their sons in prison.
