The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that a 16-year-old Palestinian teenager was shot dead today during clashes with IDF forces near Ramallah. The Israeli security establishment has not yet responded to the report.

As reported earlier in January by JOL, two Palestinians were killed and one was critically injured during riots in the West Bank and Gaza. According to local reports, one of the Palestinians died in Nablus and the other was shot dead during clashes in the central Gaza Strip.

One of the Palestinians, aged 16, was reportedly shot near the Palestinian village of Burin in the Nablus area; the other was reportedly killed during violent riots at the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. During the violent outbreaks, snipers opened fire towards the rioters.
