The terrorist who carried out the deadly attack in the settlement of Halamish is expected to be paid a sum that equals about $1.2 million by the Palestinian Authority over the course of his prison sentence, according to the right-wing Israeli news site Mida.

The site claimed that statistics collected by the Israel-based organization Palestinian Media Watch show that terrorists sentenced to more than 30 years in an Israeli prison get a monthly grant of 12,000 shekels from the PA – the highest amount of money given to terrorists.

On Friday, 19-year-old Omar al-Abed broke into a home in the Jewish settlement of Halamish north of Ramallah and murdered three members of an Israeli family who were having their Shabbat dinner. They are Yosef Zvi Salomon, 70, and his children Chaya Salomon, 40, and Elad Salomon, 36.
