Thousands of Israelis in Shelters; Launches from Gaza Continued Into the Early Morning

After midnight on Thursday in Israel (local time), alarms continued to sound in communities located in the south of the country, which has kept residents in the shelters.

Last night,more than 80 projectiles, 25 of them intercepted by the Iron Dome, have been launched from Gaza against Israel without them ceasing in the early hours of Thursday (local time), which has kept dozens of communities in the area in suspense over several hours, with more than 100 activations of the alarms, according to Israeli media.

Although most of the projectiles have fallen on open ground or within the Strip, or in their case have been intercepted by the Iron Dome, some of these have impacted and damaged buildings in some locations such as Sderot or Netivot, suffering the first of the cities a direct impact on their urban area in one of the first waves of launches.

And in the same way, the IDF attacks continue throughout the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian media.

The army said it attacked at least 100 terrorist positions, including a plant for the manufacture of materials for the construction of tunnels and a tunnel built under sea level on the coast of Gaza, as well as various stores of weapons and logistics of the terrorist group.

So far, it is reported the death of 1 Hamas member and 12 wounded after the attacks, as well as the death of a 23-year-old woman and her son a year and a half after an attack in the city of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza, according to Palestinian local media.
