Last week, Israel’s Border Police caught a group of terrorists as they attempted to place an explosive device along the security fence in the Jerusalem envelope area. The dramatic moments were caught by the security cameras.

During the weekend, a serious indictment was filed in the military court against the 3 Palestinian terrorists, aged 17 to 19, all residents of the Beit Daku village. The group was charged with preparing to carry out an act of terrorism, attempted murder and placing explosives.

Last Monday night, after noticing a suspicious vehicle, the Border Police officers on duty ambushed and arrested 2 of the terrorists while shooting into the air, as demanded by the suspect apprehension protocol. 1 of the terrorists managed to escape the scene but was arrested 2 days later in a Border Police operation.

“This was a terrorist group that intended to harm the security forces’ patrols along the route of the fence,” the police stated. “Border Police activity, including ambushes and the use of advanced technological means, thwarted a terrorist attack.”
