Six years after Gilad Shalit’s release from Hamas captivity, new footage of him surrounded by Hamas terrorists in Gaza was released. The video, which was released Wednesday morning by Hamas’ armed wing, includes several short clips of the terrorist organization’s activities. At the end of the video, there are a few clips in which Shalit is seen.

Shalit is first seen for a few seconds with several armed Hamas terrorists. In this clip, Shalit is wearing the same shirt he wore when he was released in October 2011. In a later clip, a terrorist is seen bringing Shalit a drink.

The video was released on the fourth anniversary of the death of terrorists from Hamas’ Shadow Unit, which was in charge of guarding Shalit. The previous video from Shalit’s captivity was released in January 2016.

Shalit was abducted by Hamas terrorists in June 2006 near the Kerem Shalom border crossing. The terrorists used underground tunnels to sneak into Israel and smuggle Shalit into Gaza. During his years of captivity, Hamas refused to allow aid organizations, including the International Committee of the Red Cross, to visit the Israeli soldier.
