Arab League calls on world leaders not to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital

At the end of the Arab League Summit in Jordan, the 17 participants issued a statement calling on world leaders, especially US President Donald Trump, not to move their Israeli embassies to Jerusalem.

Arab leaders on Wednesday called on US President Donald Trump, as well as other world leaders, not to move their embassies to Jerusalem or recognize the city as Israel's capital.

In the statement, which came at the end of the heavily-guarded Arab League Summit in Jordan, the 17 leaders expressed their support of a two-state solution and urged the international community to condemn "unilateral steps" of Israel.
