The Hezbollah released photographs today (Wednesday) of a hawk that was caught in a town in northern Lebanon, and according to the terrorist organization – was sent by Israel on a spying mission.
The hawk was caught by hunters with a transmitter on his back and a bracelet around his leg with the words “Israel” and “Tel Aviv” written in English upon it.
According to the organization, the writings on the bracelet show that there is a connection between the stamp to the Tel Aviv University. According to the Al-Manar report, inside the hawk was another device used for spying.
Hezbollah mention that the use of spy birds by Israel has already been exposed in the past: birds equipped with similar devices were found in Saudi Arabia in 2010, in Turkey in 2012 and in Egypt this year. According to them, all these cases turned out to be Israeli listening devices.
