Images from Syria: Dozens of children hit in chemical attack on Aleppo

Difficult images are once again coming from Syria, this time of children suffering from pain, crying and being treated at the hospital after they were hit in the chemical attack on a residential neighborhood in Aleppo controlled by the Syrian Rebels.

The attack was committed by the Syrian Armed Forces, who are once again trying to tighten the siege on the neighborhoods controlled by the rebels in the city in an attempt to subdue them while being backed by the Russian Air Force. These acts committed by Assad and his army are another testimony to the fact that the Syrian President couldn’t care less and is not concerned about a response from the rest of the world.

United States President Barack Obama addressed this very issue yesterday, stating that “Assad continues to kill his population and is not afraid of being punished for it.” Only a week ago, the United Nations published a report in which they determined that the Syrian regime has returned to using chemical weapons despite the agreement signed with the U.S. on the matter.
