Palestinian National Authority President Mahmoud Abbas (also known as Abu Mazen) was rushed to the hospital today (Thursday) after he felt ill. The PNA stated that "Abu Mazen's health is good." After Abbas underwent a series of tests, including a cardiac catheterization, his doctors announced that he is in good health.
Although the PNA was trying to show that it was business as usual, several reports claimed that Abbas has heart problems and that is why he was hospitalized. It is still unknown when the PNA President will be released from the hospital.
