The ruined city of Aleppo continues to pick up its pieces tonight (Saturday) and locate more survivors after a day of relentless shelling. At least 54 were killed and more than 200 were injured during the heavy bombardment by Assad’s military, this coming after more than 70 were killed in and around the city yesterday. The rescue teams are working without rest, sometimes successfully detecting signs of life underneath all the destruction.

In the shocking footage, one can see the rescue of a toddler from underneath the ruins. Following his rescue, he is given to a relative who is crying happily. Later, the team managed to rescue another child from the rubble. However, tragedy followed when two lifeless bodies were also found.
