An IDF unit detected last night (Sunday) at about 9:15 PM two suspects who were trying to infiltrate Israel from the Gaza Strip. The force fired at them, killing one. The second suspect was arrested. Shortly after this incident, two additional infiltration attempts were made within an hour.

Shortly after 10:00 PM, the military spotted two other suspects who were already on Israel’s side of the border and throwing IEDs at soldiers. The two were eliminated by the IDF soldiers. Less than an hour later, an IDF unit caught two other suspects who crossed the border. When the soldiers searched the suspects, they found knives and cutting scissors.

Five days ago, the military spotted two suspects who were trying to cross the border into Israel. They were carrying a knife and a grenade. They were arrested by IDF forces that were called to the scene.

A similar incident occurred about a month ago by the Kerem Shalom crossing. Two suspects carrying a knife and barb-wire cutting scissors crossed the border.

In March, a security camera documented several armed terrorists who had infiltrated Israel from Gaza walking around the entrance of Kibbutz Tze'elim during daylight hours and without any interference. The terrorists traveled a distance of about 20 kilometers (about 12.4 miles) inside Israeli territory until they were caught outside an IDF base.
