Lead plaintiff in case against senior-level IDF officer accepts deal terms

The lead plaintiff in the case against Brigadier General Ofek Buchris has met with the Chief Military Prosecutor and agreed to the settlement agreement. According to the plea bargain, Buchris will confess to and be convicted of a series of sexual misconducts but the rape charges will be dropped. According to the agreement, Buchris didn't understand that the plaintiff was objecting to intercourse.

The lead plaintiff in the case against Brigadier General Ofek Buchris has agreed to the plea bargain that was negotiated and finalized last night. The settlement agreement claims that the plaintiff objected to the intercourse but that Buchris did not understand that.

This morning (Wednesday), the lead plaintiff along with her attorneys met with the Chief Military Prosecutor and received the details of the settlement agreement from her. The plaintiff and her attorneys brought up a few issues but clarified that they won't oppose the plea bargain. Last night, it was reported that according to the details of the settlement, Buchris will confess to a series of sexual misconducts against his subordinates but the rape charges will be dropped.
