A little over a week after drive-by shooters murdered Rabbi Raziel Shevach in Havat Gilad, Israeli security forces on Thursday captured the terrorists responsible for the attack during an overnight raid in the West Bank city of Jenin.

The IDF stated that two soldiers were injured during clashes with local Palestinians, some of whom were armed. One of the soldiers is reportedly in serious condition, though his condition has since stabilized.

The large-scale operation was made possible thanks to intelligence gathered by the Shin Bet over the past days. It was carried out jointly by IDF, Shin Bet, Israel Police and Border Police forces.

As part of the operation, the Israeli forces used tractors and bulldozers to demolish the terrorists' homes. One of the suspected terrorists is reportedly dead after being buried under the ruins.

"The IDF and other security forces will continue to protect the safety of citizens by foiling acts of terror against Israelis," said the IDF Spokesperson's Unit.
