The IDF arrested three Palestinian sisters on Thursday in Hebron after a kitchen knife was found on one of them. A second knife was found thrown on the ground nearby. It is believed they had planned to carry out a terror attack but were having second thoughts.

The sisters, aged 23, 18 and 15, arrived at a military checkpoint near the Cave of the Patriarchs at about 5 p.m. on Thursday. IDF Border Police officers noticed their suspicious behavior and decided to frisk them. They found a knife strapped to the body of one of the women and another one on the ground.

A preliminary questioning of the three women suggested that they had thrown the knife away because they regretted their decision to carry out a terror attack.
