IDF raided car ramming terrorist’s home, dispersed violent riot

Following yesterday’s car ramming attack in Gush Etzion, security forces conducted searches in the terrorist’s home and hung warning flyers against further attacks. During the operation, a violent disturbance was dispersed.

Following yesterday’s car ramming attack in Gush Etzion, during which a 17-year-old Palestinian terrorist injured two Israeli citizens, the IDF, Shin Bet and the Civil Administration joint forces in an operation in the terrorist’s home village of Halhul.

The forces arrived at the terrorist’s home, conducted weapons searches and hung warning flyers against further attacks. Meanwhile, the Civil Administration cancelled the permits of a number of people associated with the terrorist.

During the operation, a violent disturbance took place and stones were thrown at the security forces. The IDF responded with means of riot dispersal and by firing into the air. No casualties or damage were reported.

Yesterday, the IDF encircled the village in order to prevent additional potential terrorists from leaving the village. The terrorist’s family was brought in for questioning.
