15 bags were stolen from IDF infantry reservists during a military exercise that was conducted very early this morning (Tuesday) near Tze’elim in southern Israel. The bags were stolen with all of their belongings inside, but it is still unknown whether or not the bags contained military equipment such as night vision gear, weapons and ammunition, maps and classified documents.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit responded with an official statement: “Last night, 15 reserve soldiers’ personal bags were stolen from Tze’elim Base, which is in southern Israel. The IDF is aware of the incident and is taking care of it.”
