Israeli soldier detained and questioned after shooting at his officer's car on base

The Military Police Corps is investigating the circumstances surrounding an unusual incident in which a soldier opened fire on an officer's empty vehicle at their base following a supposed argument between the two on Monday.

An IDF soldier serving in the 401 Armored Corps Brigade shot 20 bullets at a vehicle belonging to an officer. The soldier, who serves as a driver in the brigade, apparently carried out the shooting following a dispute with the car’s owner.

In this unusual incident, the soldier shot at the empty car, fortunately, ending without casualty. According to the IDF, two cars parked next to the targeted vehicle were slightly damaged. IDF military police have detained the soldier for questioning and opened an investigation into the incident.
