Within the past few days, the Mossad launched an official Facebook page for recruiting new candidates into the Israeli national intelligence agency. The Hebrew-language page entitled “The Institute for Intelligence and Special Assignments – Careers” will provide young Israelis with better access to the agency’s recruitment ads, which up until now were only available on the Mossad’s official website.
“Posting the roles on Facebook will enable more efficient recruitment with broader access to the population in order to recruit the most eligible candidates,” the Mossad explained. “The Mossad is at the forefront of the State of Israel’s security and over the past few years, has dealt with rising challenges. The Mossad manages to deal with these challenges in an exceptional manner with thinking outside of the box, while integrating organizational skills, creativity and dedication to the mission.”
Over the past few years, the Mossad has invested much effort into making its recruitment ads more accessible to as much of the Israeli population as possible, the intelligence agency claimed. “The Mossad works hard in order to find the most creative ways to recruit with an effort to reach a more targeted audience and the most suitable candidates to serve in the agency,” the intelligence agency said. “The Mossad cultivates and invests in all of its employees with the understanding that the cultivation and investing in them will help the Mossad realize its purpose in defending the State of Israel’s security. For example, last Independence Day, the Mossad launched a mysterious riddle as part of the cyber department’s recruitment campaign.”
