It was reported that even if IDF forces will soon receive all the necessary data in order to successfully find and rescue the three teens, operation “Return Our Sons” will continue against the Hamas infrastructure.

The operation is targeting the general infrastructure of Hamas and its branches, but may develop into other places as well. Among other things taken into account by Israel’s security system is that Hamas which currently controls Gaza may continue to fire rockets and also may ask for Islamic Jihad to join in such attacks. Meanwhile, it is being reported that security forces in the Palestinian Authority are assiting in giving vital intelligence information.

So far, no organization has claimed responsibility for the kidnapping. While Hamas has not made any statement claiming responsibility, the IDF is placing responsibility on Hamas.
