Report: 2 Palestinians killed in clashes with IDF soldiers in Jenin

According to reports, two Palestinians were killed in the Jenin refugee camp during an IDF operation that turned into a clash between locals and the soldiers early Wednesday morning. The IDF stated that the Palestinians opened fire on the soldiers, who responded by returning fire.

IDF soldiers who were operating in the refugee camp in Jenin early Wednesday morning were attacked by Palestinians and responded by opening fire. The IDF is evaluating the Arab reports claiming that two Palestinians were killed and several more were injured during the clashes. No injuries were reported among the soldiers.

According to the IDF Spokesperson, the Palestinians fired gunshots at the soldiers and threw dozens of explosive devices at them.

Meanwhile, 21 wanted Palestinians were arrested during routine operations throughout the West Bank. The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said that 18 of them are suspected of participating in terrorist activities and violent riots against civilians and security forces.
