Report: Police search for gunmen who held IDF soldier at gunpoint, stole his rifle

The gunmen have fled the scene. Police found their vehicle overturned on the side of the road.

Four individuals stole a rifle from an IDF soldier on Sunday evening after holding him at gunpoint, according to a police report.

The soldier told the police he was standing at the Beit Kama intersection north of Beersheba when four people, wearing masks, exited a white Toyota Corolla, pointed a gun at him and stole his rifle before driving off.

The suspects' vehicle was later found overturned on the side of the road. Police forces are on the scene searching for them.
