“I didn’t have my gun and I was afraid,” said the IDF soldier who was dismissed from his special forces unit after he ran away from a female terrorist who slightly injured him about two weeks ago. The IDF announced on Sunday that the soldier has been dismissed from his unit after the investigation revealed that he did not act appropriately in order to neutralize the terrorist.

Another soldier who was at the scene shot the terrorist in order to prevent her from hurting the soldier any further and harming the other people. “I was without my gun,” the injured soldier recalled when he was questioned about his actions during the stabbing attack. “I was afraid. I didn’t know what to do, so I ran.”
