Terror attack thwarted at Shilo Junction in West Bank

A female terrorist armed with a knife and a bottle of gasoline went to a hitchhikers' station on Route 60 and was arrested by an Israeli civilian who noticed that she was closing in on the area. The civilian asked the terrorist to stop and she was neutralized without having to use any gunfire.

A stabbing attack was thwarted on Tuesday at Shilo Junction in the West Bank’s Binyamin Region. No injuries were reported. A female terrorist armed with a knife and a bottle of gasoline went to a hitchhikers’ station located near Shilo on Route 60 and was neutralized by a civilian at the scene.

The civilian, who was armed with a gun, noticed the terrorist closing in on the area and yelled for her to stop. In response, the terrorist threw a utility knife and the bottle of gasoline. She was neutralized by the civilian and was later arrested by Israeli security forces without the use of gunfire.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement that “IDF forces arrested the suspect and found a bottle of gasoline in her possession. The Palestinian has now been detained at the location.”
