HaBayit HaYehudi Chairman MK Naftali Bennett responded on Friday to the newly published allegations against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the German submarines scandal.

Bennett defended Netanyahu and tweeted that he was "not corrupt" and "would never sell out Israel's security for financial gain." According to a Channel 10 report from Tuesday, Netanyahu's personal lawyer, David Shimron, was also representing the German company who sold the submarines to the Israeli government.

Former Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon stated on Thursday that he had opposed purchasing the new submarines at the time, adding that the IDF has no use of them. "These publications warrant an examination," he said.
