Israeli Finance Ministry Director-General Shai Babad is expected to meet today (Monday) with Israeli Communications Ministry Director-General Shlomo Filber in order to resolve the coalition crisis, according to Yedioth Ahronoth. It is assumed that the two will most likely decide that the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation will be launched as planned on April 30 but the heads of the corporation will be replaced. It is still unclear what Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s position regarding this possible agreement will be and whether he will approve it.

Late last night, Israeli Tourism Minister Yariv Levin (Likud) and Babad met in light of the dispute between Netanyahu and Israeli Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon. The two attempted to settle the dispute and said that they are committed to finding a solution. The two agreed that they would meet again in order to continue the discussion.
