Heated argument between MKs reaches Ethics CommitteeToday, MKs Oren Hazan and Michal Biran entered a heated argument, during which insults were hurled from both sides. Following the altercation, Biran filed a complaint to the Knesset’s Ethics Committee.
Today (Tuesday), controversial Likud MK Oren Hazan entered a heated argument with MK Michal Biran from the Zionist Camp, in which insults were hurled from both sides. Following the argument, Biran contacted the Ethics Committee and demanded that Hazan be punished.
The argument erupted during a meeting of the Finance Committee, when Hazan turned to MK Rachel Azaria and stated: “I would teach you a few things.” Biran responded: “She will manage just fine without your skills of managing a casino in Burgas.” In response, Hazan stated: “I wouldn’t even let you be a card dealer.”
From here, the argument quickly escalated. “Pimp, it’s an embarrassment that you’re in the Knesset,” Biran screamed, to which Hazan replied: “Do you want to file a work form? Forget it, nobody would look at you anyway.”
Following the statements, Biran filed a complaint against Hazan for verbal sexual harassment. After describing the exchange, she added that he told her to work in prostitution: “I expect the committee to treat this case severely and take the necessary measures to punish the MK.”
