Israeli PM explained why he doesn’t want his kids to go into politics

Next Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s interview with Fox News will air. In a preview, Netanyahu responded to the possibility of his kids going into politics.

Over the past several years, the possibility that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s son Yair will join politics arose several times. Now, in an interview with Fox News that will air on Sunday, the prime minister referred to the possibility.

Interviewer: “Your kids, do you encourage them to go into politics?”

Netanyahu: “No.”

Interviewer: “You discourage them?”

Netanyahu: “Ye.”

Interviewer: “Why?”

Netanyahu: “It doesn’t help. I mean, it may not help. But yes, of course, because it’s a very tough life.”

Interviewer: “Are either inclined?”

Netanyahu: “Maybe one, I’m not sure but I hope not.”
