A Knesset committee has decided to prohibit MKs from taking overseas trips that are paid for by anti-Israeli organizations. This decision is mainly expected to affect Israeli-Arab MKs, some of whom are known to have taken part in anti-Israeli events abroad.

Among the types of organizations that are expected to be banned are those that support boycotting products made in the settlements, call for the prosecution of IDF soldiers or deny the holocaust.

Joint Arab List MK Ahmad Tibi called the decision "severely harmful to the vital immunity of parliament members."
