Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will reveal new intelligence about Iran’s nuclear program at 8:00 PM. The timing of the “dramatic” announcement is unrelated to last night’s attack in Syria, which has been attributed to Israel, Netanyahu’s office said.

According to Hadashot news, the intelligence is based on tens of thousands of documents that show that Iran has been lying to the world about its nuclear program. The documents were obtained exclusively by Israel.

Israel’s Channel 10 reported that National Security Council head Meir Ben-Shabbat will speak with his British, German and French counterparts before the announcement to update them about the significant intelligence.

With just 12 days left until US President Donald Trump’s announcement about the future of the nuclear deal, the world is speculating about what will happen on May 12 and how Tehran will react if Trump decides to reimpose sanctions on Iran. Yesterday, Netanyahu met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in Tel Aviv. At the end of their meeting, the two held a joint press conference. Netanyahu said that Iran’s possession of nuclear arms poses the greatest threat globally. “We are committed to stopping Iran together,” he added.

Pompeo said that the US is “deeply concerned” about Iran’s aggression and that the Trump administration is committed to preventing Tehran's ambitions to dominate the Middle East. “A strong cooperation with strong allies like you is critical to countering Iran’s destabilizing and malign ambitions,” Pompeo said.
