Senior level Yisrael Beiteinu officials expected to stand trial for serious offenses

The Israeli Attorney General and the Israeli State Attorney announced that there is enough evidence to indict two former senior level Yisrael Beiteinu officials for several serious offenses.

Israeli Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit and State Attorney Shai Nitzan announced today (Monday) that there is enough evidence against former Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov and former Deputy Interior Minister Faina Kirschenbaum in order to indict the two former senior level Yisrael Beiteinu officials.

Misezhnikov is suspected of bribery, fraud, breach of trust, possession and use of a dangerous drug and obstruction of justice. The former deputy interior minister is suspected of bribery, fraud, breach of trust, money-laundering and tax evasion. Kirschenbaum’s parliamentary aide Victoria Rabin is suspected of obstruction of justice and evidence tampering.

In addition to Kirschenbaum and Misezhnikov indictments might be filed against several other senior level Yisrael Beiteinu politicians.
