At least 22 people were injured when a homemade bomb blew up in a District Line tube train in West London. Local police are at the scene and have asked the residents to avoid the area. According to the police, the explosion is being treated as a terror attack. The Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry stated that no reports about injured Israelis have been received.

The incident is still under investigation, though preliminary reports indicate that the bomb was in a plastic bucket that had been placed on the train. None of the 22 injured people who are being treated at hospitals in the city suffered life-threatening injuries. After the explosion, the train service in London was suspended.

British Prime Minister Theresa May said, "My thoughts are with those injured at Parsons Green and the emergency services who, once again, are responding swiftly and bravely to a suspected terrorist incident."

London Mayor Sadiq Khan told the LBC radio station that the authorities are searching for the person or the people responsible for the act. “There is a manhunt underway as we speak,” he said.
