Police search for car that fled after plowing into 6 French soldiers

Police forces are searching for the vehicle that rammed into a group of soldiers in the Paris suburb of Levallois-Perret Wednesday morning. Out of the six soldiers who were injured, two are in critical condition. The incident is being investigated by local police officers.

French media outlets reported on Wednesday that a car rammed into a group of soldiers in the western Paris suburb of Levallois-Perret and then fled the scene. The incident is being investigated by police officers as they also search for the vehicle.

According to the police announcement, six soldiers were injured. Two of them are in serious condition. “A police investigation was launched and we are searching for the car,” the local police department said in a statement.

Levallois-Perret Mayor Patrick Balkany said that a BMW plowed into the group of soldiers in what was an intentional act. “This was a deliberate act of aggression,” he said.
