110,000 British travelers stranded around the world after Monarch Airlines collapses

Brittan’s fifth largest airline, Monarch Airlines, canceled all flights Monday morning after the company collapsed. Britain’s Civil Aviation Authority reported that it is trying to lease 30 aircraft in order to return the British travelers who flew the airline to various destinations around the world and are now stranded with no way returning flight.

Monarch Airlines canceled all flights this morning (Monday) after the company collapsed. Monarch Airlines, Britain’s fifth largest airline, offers low-cost flights to over 100 destinations in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

Over 110,000 British travelers who flew the airline to various destinations around the world are now stranded with no way returning flight. Britain’s Civil Aviation Authority reported that it is trying to lease 30 aircraft in order to collect the Monarch passengers and return them to the UK.
