Clinton admits she ignored her doctor’s orders to rest

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton spoke to the media for the first time since her recent medical episode that make international headlines. In an interview with CNN, Clinton said that she felt dizzy but never lost consciousness.

Today (Tuesday), Clinton put an end to the rumors about her health situation during her first interview since the footage of her almost collapsing was released. Clinton clarified that she feels better and intends to return to the campaign trail soon. “I was supposed to rest five days, that’s what they told me on Friday, and I didn’t follow that very wise advice,” said Clinton in an interview with CNN.

Clinton said that she has “a high standard of transparency” when it comes to her health. Regarding her diagnosis, Clinton said that she did not reveal it because she thought it would not become a serious issue. During the interview, the Democratic presidential candidate said that she lost her balance and felt dizzy but never lost consciousness.

“I just want to get this over and done with and get back on the trail as soon as possible,” Clinton added.
