Hillary Clinton’s advantage over Donald Trump increases to 11%

According to a poll that was conducted before the second presidential debate but after the recordings from Donald Trump’s past surfaced, Hillary Clinton is leading by 11 percentage points.

According to an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, which was conducted after the recordings from Trump’s past were revealed but before the second presidential debate, Clinton has an 11 percentage point advantage over the Republican nominee. Last month, Clinton was leading by just 6 percentage points.

According to the poll, which was conducted by the two news agencies, Clinton received 46% of the votes while Trump received only 35%. Clinton received more votes from women. However, Trump is leading among male voters. 42% of the voters said that the recordings should not be considered an issue in the campaign. 52% said that the recordings are an issue that they should be considered. In addition, about a third of the voters said that Trump’s remarks are “inappropriate but typical of how some men talk in private with other men.”

According to the Wall Street Journal, the embarrassing recordings from Trump’s past are the main reason behind Trump’s recent drop in the poll. While the majority of the Republican Party believes that Trump needs to continue in the race, House Speaker Paul Ryan told CNN that he will no longer defend his party’s nominee.
