Bill O'Reilly forced out of Fox News in wake of sexual harassment allegationsThe conservative-leaning news network announced that O'Reilly would not be returning to his show, after over 50 advertisers chose to abandon it.
The Fox News company has announced that Bill O'Reilly, its biggest star, will not be returning to the network, two and a half weeks after the emergence of several sexual harassment allegations against him.
This is the second time in less than a year that a Fox News official is being forced out due to sexually-based allegations; the company's former chairman, Roger Ailes, was ousted last summer in the wake of similar allegations.
Since the allegations against O'Reilly started to pile up, more than 50 advertisers have abandoned his show following pressure from women's rights groups.
It was also reported that Fox News and O'Reilly had reached $13 million deals with five of the women who had complained about inappropriate behavior by him.
