This morning (Monday), French news outlets reported that the country’s authorities arrested a suspect who admitted to murdering the 4 members of the missing family, Pascal and Brigitte Troadec and their children Sebastien and Charlotte, in the town of Nantes 3 weeks ago. The suspect is Pascal’s brother in law and claimed that he committed the crime because of a dispute over the inheritance money.

The suspect and his wife, Pascal’s sister, were arrested last night after the police thought their testimony was irrelevant at the beginning of the investigation. According to the report, genetic evidence from the scene point to the suspect’s presence at the scene during the time of the crime.
